Command Robbinsville is seeking Sheetfed Press Operators.

Job Summary: This position is responsible for monitoring and running a Heidelberg Speed Master Sheetfed Press. The selected individual will be part of a team for their respective press. Past sheetfed experience as an operator is preferred, but willing to teach.

Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot printing press to meet daily production and quality goals.
• Analyze issues, provide ideas for improvements, and determine/implement solutions.
• Register multi-unit sheet fed press using automatic register systems.
• Balance ink and water for highest quality of printing. Achieving acceptable color within specified Make Ready standards.
• Help in training of other operators as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform routine maintenance on the press.

Requirements

• Must be reliable and consistently at work and on time
• 2 years’ experience preferred operating a Heidelberg press.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Must have positive and effective communication with other team members
• Safety and Quality minded
• Should be able to work with minimal supervision and be an individual contributor
• Identifies and solves problems in a timely manner
• Proofing capabilities – strong eye for attention to detail
• Experience leading and training fellow team members
• Willing to work flexible hours
