Comfort Temp is Hiring an Asset Coordinator Near Gainesville, FL
- As an Asset and Equipment Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our company's fleet and equipment. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in accepting new company vehicles, promptly reporting any damage or issues to the Asset Manager.
- Installing and/or replacing GPS devices and backup alarms in company vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Installing shelving, ladder racks, and other standard company materials into new vehicles for optimal functionality.
- Setting up vehicles for assigned positions and inventorying tools and materials to ensure completeness.
- Conducting inventory checks on tools and materials in vehicles of terminating drivers to ensure all items are returned.
- Stripping company reusable assets from vehicles that are being removed from the Asset inventory.
- Assisting with temporary transfer of drivers to other vehicles for warranty work, recalls, or repairs.
- Collaborating on branding approval for company assets to maintain brand consistency.
- Assisting in updating Asset's license plates, insurance cards, and registrations for compliance.
- Troubleshooting and ensuring compliance of GPS devices.
- Traveling to complete recalls, preventive maintenance, repairs, and warranty work.
- Ensuring asset compliance and proper use of vehicles, trailers, and equipment.
- Keeping company trailer list updated and marked with compliance labels.
- Performing routine preventive maintenance on trailers and equipment to maintain safety records.
- Assisting with setting and changing appointments as needed.
- Helping drivers with minor repairs and replacements to maintain asset safety and minimize costs.
- Conducting research and troubleshooting issues with company assets as they arise.
- Assisting with purchasing inventory for Asset and Equipment needs.
- Supporting the Asset Manager with other related duties as necessary.
- Reclaiming all returned tanks and ensuring proper disposal or reuse.
- Determining appropriate trailer/truck needed for delivery based on equipment/materials being transported, considering weight and dimensions.
- Loading equipment safely and securely for transport using appropriate tools and methods.
- Delivering equipment to job sites and unloading safely.
- Being willing to learn and adapt to other duties as necessary.
- CDL (Commercial Driver's License) sponsored by the Company.
- EPA certification.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to travel and work in different locations as required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
- Commitment to safety protocols and regulations.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity
- Microsoft word suite experience (word, excel)
- Willingness to work in office as needed to set appointments and assist Fleet manager in administrative tasks
