Description

The Warehouse Team Lead plays a crucial role in overseeing various aspects of warehouse operations, including implementing the Company Cycle Counting Program, managing corrugate releases and replenishment, handling raw material deliveries, and ensuring optimal on-hand inventory levels. Responsibilities also include coordinating replenishment to the main site, and contributing to the efficient functioning of the warehouse

• Shift Times: Monday-Friday; 7:30am-4:00pm
• Pay Schedule: Weekly 

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of warehouse personnel to achieve daily operational goals and targets.
•  Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. 
• Supervise and support warehouse staff in daily tasks, providing guidance and training as needed.
•  Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all team members adhere to safety guidelines and procedures. 
• Manage the release and replenishment of corrugated materials to support production requirements. 
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to optimize corrugated inventory levels. 
• Coordinate and oversee the receiving of raw material and Finished Goods into the warehouse.
• Conduct inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of incoming materials when required. 
• Maintain accurate records of on-hand inventory levels for all warehouse items. 
• Implement strategies to minimize overstock and stockouts, ensuring a balanced and efficient inventory. 
• Coordinate and execute the replenishment process to the plant, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. 
• Collaborate with transportation and logistics teams to optimize the replenishment schedule. 
• Ensure prompt execution of all originating transfer requests and collaborate with Traffic
• Dispatch/Traffic Clerk Ambassadors to coordinate logistical support.
•  Support Operations team in shared goals and initiatives

Requirements

 • Proven experience in warehouse operations.

 • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.

 • Familiarity with cycle counting and proficiency in WMS.

 • Excellent organizational skills.

 • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across different teams.

• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
