New hotel looking for quality team members to join us! This position is for reliable housekeepers. We are looking to hire 2-3 as soon as possible so apply now. Flexible shifts/hours available, from 3 to 4 days a week. Must be available most Friday, Saturday, & Sundays. Starting pay is $12.50/hour, but up to $14.00 based on prior experience.

Responsiblities

To simplify, housekeeping will clean corridors, lobbies, stairways, elevators and lounges as well as guest rooms assigned.

• restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing supplies
• distribute linen, towels and room supplies using wheeled carts or by hand
• replace dirty linens/towels with clean items
• make guest beds to brand standards and expectations
• inspect mattresses regularly
• store all dirty laundry in line with company policy
• check all appliances in rooms are in working order
• realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
• respond to guest queries and requests
• respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses
• deliver any requested housekeeping items to guest rooms
• organize and restock cart at the end of the shift
• ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms
• follow all company safety and security procedures
• report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
• observe and report damage of hotel property

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
