**Job Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Pain Management Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatrics and possess strong patient care skills. As a Pain Management Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care to patients experiencing pain. **Responsibilities:** - Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for pain management - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers - Monitor vital signs and assess pain levels - Utilize sonography for pain evaluation - Provide education to patients and families on pain management techniques - Assist in minor procedures such as suturing wounds and administering injections - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care - Maintain accurate medical records **Skills:** - Experience working with children in a healthcare setting - Proficiency in assessing and managing patient pain - Knowledge of occupational health practices - Ability to perform basic sonography for pain assessment - Competency in monitoring vital signs accurately - Experience administering injections and suturing wounds - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments such as the ER Join our team of healthcare professionals dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients experiencing pain.
