We have an immediate opening for a caring and compassionate Private Duty Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in Gaylord. This position involves care for an young adult male with a G-tube Monday through Friday. Shift hours are from 9:00am to 5:00pm (40 hours per week total).

What you’ll be doing:

• Assess vitals, provide continuous physical assessment of patient condition.
• Review and maintain all required care logs for the patient on a daily basis
• Medication & feeding administration via G-tube per MD direction
• Maintain patent airway, deliver respiratory treatments, monitor/use of oxygen when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in an acute care setting or equivalent experience
• Current BLS/CPR certification

A urine drug test and background check are performed prior to offer of employment.
