- Part Time
- 9 am to 2-3 pm in the morning / afternoon 3 days a week (Monday / Wednesday / Friday) in Chester 28706 zip code
- Previous Home Health Aide / PCA Experience required, Training available.
The Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) provides clients various personal care and homemaker / companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence.
Essential Functions :
- Personal Care with ADLs and IADLs
- Provide assistance with : bathing, dressing, grooming, skin care, back care, shampoo, oral hygiene, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices (wheel chair), change of position, with toileting.
- Companion / Sitter / Household Management
- Provide companionship and respite services for family
- Stand-by assist with transfers for fall risk clients
- Client is a man in 80s and the family needs immediate assistance for 4-5 hours daily / 3 days a week.
- Occasional Transportation to run errands within 5 mile radius once a week.
Qualifications / Educational Requirements :
- High school graduate or G.E.D certificate
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
- Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job
- Clean background with no history.
Must be :
- Willing to keep client active
- Good at communicating
- Have driver's license and car
