Role Description

This is Per-diem / Part-time Caregiver position in Cambridge, MA with each shift being 12 hours (8am-8pm). The primary responsibilities of this role include assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Additionally, the role involves assisting clients with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) such as light housekeeping, shopping, and running errands.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding
• Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Complete medical documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Follow care plans and instructions provided

Job Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
• Experience in personal care and companionship, with clients of diverse backgrounds and ages
• Familiarity with ADL and IADL services
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Authorization to work within the US without requiring a VISA sponsorship
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to new situations and learn on the job, must possess a positive, proactive, and caring attitude
