**Overview:**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of personal care services. The ideal candidate will have experience in nursing homes, dementia care, private home care and be comfortable with some lifting.
**Duties:**
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility assistance
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor vital signs
- Implement behavior management techniques for clients with special needs
- Support individuals with special needs, seniors, and those requiring childcare
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
**Experience:**
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Prior experience in nursing homes or home care settings
- Proficiency in dementia care and senior care
- Ability to perform lifting when necessary
- Experience working with individuals with autism or behavioral challenges
