HR Process and Metrics Analyst
The HR Process and Metrics Analyst is responsible for supporting the tracking and reporting of all positions in the bank including the creation of the weekly Position Request submission to ESC. This role works with all areas of HR to identify and implement process improvements for key HR operational tasks and is responsible for coordinating the accurate development and review of budget in excess of $15,000,000 as well as coordinating with multiple departments within HR to respond to HR Survey requests. This position will manage medium to large size projects and/or operations with moderate to intermediate complexity across HR. They will partner with IT technical staff to complete work product deployment and with HR colleagues to ensure understanding of business requirements and delivery of work product that meets the department needs. This position will function as a technical expert within the department and works with multiple corporate vendors and internal business areas to ensure accurate processing for HR operational functions The individual can quickly find common ground and solve problems for the good of all, represent his/her own interests and yet be fair to other groups, solve problems with peers with a minimum of noise and is seen as a team player that easily gains trust and support of peers.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Position Management Tracking and Reporting -Execute Position Management process 30% including weekly and monthly updates to the tracking program. -Create and execute fully documented Position Tracking reporting processes, providing supplemental analysis to support the decision making. -Provide input and /or make recommendations to identify, enhance, and consolidate process and associated reporting. -Consolidate and edit professional presentations for weekly submission to the Executive Steering Committee. - Understands business purpose of process and how it is intended to be used. -Leverages expert knowledge by providing leadership and guidance to HRC as they develop submissions for review. -Ensures the development of appropriate documentation based on position submissions and approvals/denials. -Develop appropriate controls to ensure accuracy of reporting on monthly Organizational Health metrics related to Position Tracking.
  • Process Improvement Expert -Work with all HR areas to identify process improvement
    opportunities and implement changes in support of 'Making Work Easier'. -Work with
    managerial and systems personnel to identify problems, suggest solutions, and
    determine associated costs. Consult business units to determine automation
    opportunities across all processes. -Design, develop, test and implement solutions. -
    Establishing departmental process improvement strategy and standards ensuring
    consistency. -Define and implement process improvement best practices, prepare and
    conduct best practices training program to HR Colleagues. -Review and resolve trends in
    quality issues, and coordinate implementation of process changes to improve quality and
    production. -Responsible for adhering to the project plan tasks and guidelines, thinking
    outside the box to reach alternate ways of solving problems, ensuring operational risk is
    considered, engaging HR management when approval is needed, and providing status
    reports. -Deliver comprehensive communications and training internally and externally
    pertaining to changes in HR processes. -Keeps management informed of the status of
    ongoing activities by gathering accurate, timely and appropriate status reporting from
    project participants on a regular basis for assigned projects. -Informs and coordinates
    with other departments on project status, timelines, technical issues and project
    activities. May lead internal team members that create work plans for large and/or
    complex projects.
  • Management of HR Operations Reporting -Provides project support to plan, select,
    design, develop, integrate, and implement database solutions for departmental projects
    providing accurate, timely, and appropriate status on assignments. Works with other
    experts in determining best database solution for a project. -Determines root cause of
    issues and come to timely resolution. -Understands business purpose of data and how it
    is intended to be used. -Leverages expert knowledge by providing leadership and
    guidance to other team members on reporting and survey responses. -Continually seek
    new and innovative ways to enhance HR reporting and survey response within HR.
    Improvements can include: Automating current manual procedures, running actions to
    provide additional information to certain alerts, creating page/email notifications, etc. -
    Develop appropriate controls to ensure accuracy of reporting provided by the team. -
    Evaluate reporting procedures to ensure efficient processes and accurate output. -
    Collaborates with HR Directors, HRCs and Business Support partners to develop and
    configure on-going as well as ad-hoc reporting.
  • Budget Support -Ensure budget variances are addressed as necessary and the monthly
    forecast data is accurate and timely, work with HRDs to resolve budget issues/inquiries,
    coordinate the annual HR budget process. -Complete data analysis of the various
    monthly financial reports, providing timely and accurate reporting of results. -Identify
    items to include in following year budget based on current year actuals. -Collaborating
    with internal partners to ensure accurate, timely submission of billing and resolve
    budget related processing issues to ensure accurate reflection of financial results to the
    HR Leadership team. -Collaborating with internal partners consolidate the annual plan submissions for review by management. -Independently respond to questions from audit or management concerning financial or management information reported and defend (or correct) answers provided. -Develop appropriate controls to ensure accuracy of reporting provided by the team.
Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited University
  • 5 years of experience in performing data analytics, or database management
  • 5 years of experience in project management, requirement gathering and testing
  • 3 years of experience in working with database reporting
