A leading custom pneumatic tube company is seeking a Field Service Technician responsible for servicing and repairing conventional drive-thru equipment, vaults, safes, locks, and electronic security products. As potentially the only direct contact the company has with a client, it is essential for the technician to deliver excellent customer service. The technician will be required to service multiple types of pneumatic tube systems, banking equipment, electronic security products, and automated pharmacy dispensing system. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients with diverse personalities. The Field Service Technician must be able to work independently and make critical decisions. In addition, the technician is expected to continually seek to expand his/her knowledge of the ever-changing products manufactured by an innovative company.

Responsibilities:

• Responding to incoming/outgoing service calls with a strong sense of urgency.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve reported issues with accuracy.
• Work to resolve issues on other manufacturers’ equipment to the satisfaction of our customers.
• Provide emergency on-call support on a rotating schedule.
• Maintain service call records and ensure that the work orders are closed in our system so they can be billed.
• Perform annual preventative maintenance in accordance with our service agreements.
• Work in tandem with our sales staff to collect the necessary information to complete sales.
• Educate and/or provide customers with new and improved products to facilitate upgrades at locations with older equipment.

Qualifications:

• 1 years of experience as a repair technician in a service industry
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Working knowledge of computers, smartphones, and iPad, preferred
• Must be able to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
• Must be able to climb a ladder a minimum of 16’
• Must be able to access openings in canopies and hatches to reach blower motors, control boards, etc.
• Working knowledge of time clock movements (optional)
• Locksmith license, preferred (optional)
• Alarm/Access Control license and experience, preferred (optional)
• Experience working with mechanical and electronic locks (LaGuard, Kaba Mas, S&G)
• Experience with ATM and/or Pharmacy Dispensing Systems, preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Starting $52,000 - $62,000 per year. Salary depends on experience
