The Shared Services Accounting Specialist is responsible for managing the full cycle of the Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Processes. This position includes daily invoicing as well as sending reminders and statements to customers and Accounts Payable activities such as three-way match process, this position will report directly to the Controller.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following:

• Coding and entering all payables into account system (3-way match);
• Perform check runs;
• Research various AP invoice issues and resolve disputes;
• Invoice customers each day;
• Make daily applications of payments received; and collect credit card payments when requested
• Send regular statements and reminder/collection calls and emails to customers
• Assist with daily accounting tasks and preparation of month-end reports;
• Assist with financial inventory analysis
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma required, AA or BS degree a plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must possess the following strengths: Excellent customer service skills, in addition to strong organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to handle high volume, ability to work independently, resourceful, dependable, and analytical; self-starter with the abilities to handle changing priorities and meeting deadlines.

Standard office equipment including: computer, fax, e-mail, voice mail, telephone.
