DEFINITION:

Under the supervision of the Mammographic Supervisor. The supervisor assists the Chief of Radiology and physicians in providing Mammographic studies. Is responsible for in-services to students, technologist and civic organizations. Is able to provide patient care activities to include adult, pediatric and neonatal patients. Responsible for the proper utilization of Radiology Information System as described in the RIS Policy and Procedure. 

EDUCATION:

Must meet requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. 

REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE):

Registered with the ARRT in mammography.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

One or more years experience in working in a busy diagnostic and Mammographic Radiology facility setting.

Must have completed formal Radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school.
