Columbus Regional Healthcare System is Hiring a Histology Coordinator Near Whiteville, NC

Job Description: Under the general direction of the Director of Laboratory Services, the Histology Coordinator is responsible for clinical laboratory examinations, quality control, instrument maintenance and validation, testing validation and management and maintenance of policies and procedures within the histology and cytology sections.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, one of the specialty areas, or one of chemical or biological science.
- Board-registered or eligible for registry as a histo-technologists or specialist in histology.
Preferred: HT (ASCP) or equivalent.
Experience: Requires a minimum of four years of experience as a medical technologist or histo-technologist in an acute care setting under a qualified section director with at least one year of experience in the histology/cytology specialty.
