**POSITION OVERVIEW**

The 80 Acres Farms Retail Merchandiser (RM) role is critical to the overall success of 80 Acres Farms. The RMwill "own" the presentation of our company, brand, and individual products within a retail store. By ensuring that our products are

well positioned, in-stock, rotated, and signage placed, the RM will drive consumers to our Brand and ultimately, drive sales. This is foundational to the growth of our business. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**

* Develop solid working relationships with key store personnel (store manager, produce manager, produce team, backroom staff, etc.).

* Support the efforts of store personnel, while ensuring THEY take full responsibility for maintaining, ordering and stocking our product day-to-day

* Follow the established store call schedule; review priorities with supervisor and discuss special instructions, product promotions, new products, and price changes in advance

* Drive store sales through proper shelf management, display management, installation of point-of-purchase (POP) materials, price sign integrity, promotion compliance

* Ensure 80 Acres products are represented on-shelf as just-picked fresh with the highest quality standards; e.g. rotate, shrink out-of-date product; advise store personnel of issues

* Work with store personnel to print and replace any missing price signs before leaving the store

* Restock shelves with product from inventory; observe inventory levels, prompt Produce Manager/Assistant order more if levels consistently appear low

* Sell-in secondary displays or locations where feasible; expand facings (with store approval); be creative to drive incremental sales

* Handle any issues related to poor quality or short shelf life; report to the 80 Acres Quality Team arrange for credit, if appropriate

* Take photos of our products/displays and upload to the 80 Acres share site

* Take note of competitive products, displays and pricing; report or take photos

* Answer questions and/or respond to special requests by escalating to appropriate 80 Acres team member

* Provide call report / status at the end of each day

* Strong communicator

* Dependable and punctual

* Well groomed

* Excellent communication skills

* Must use good judgment

* Must be able to work exceptionally well with others in a team environment

* Must have access to internet/smartphone

* Safe and reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
