PATIENT RECEPTIONIST – PHYSICAL THERAPY DEPARTMENT

JOB DESCRIPTION

COLUMBUS ORTHOPAEDIC

Summary – Position Responsibilities

· Continual interaction with both patients and physical therapists

· Schedule/reschedule patient appointments via telephone and in person

· Coordinate approval of each patient’s Plan of Care

· Verify patient demographic and insurance information and scan clinical information into electronic medical record

· Enter charges and accept payments

Minimum Job Requirements

· Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required

· Verifiable history of punctuality, solid job performance and attention to detail

· Superb customer service and organizational skills

· Strong computer skills

· Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team

· Ability to pass background check and periodic drug screen

· Previous healthcare experience strongly desired, but not required

§ Full-time position based in Columbus, MS

§ Monday through Friday, no nights, no weekends
