Columbus Compaction is a company heavily integrated in the waste and recycle industry. From rebuilding compaction equipment to the sale and installation of brand new equipment, Columbus Compaction handles it all.

We are looking to hire Fabricators/Welders for our fabrication shop to rebuild compaction equipment for our customers.

Job Responsibilities: Tear Down Equipment using Plasma Cutters, Oxy/Acetylene Torches, Hand Grinders, Drills, Hand Tools, ETC. Reassemble equipment with new parts. Fabricate new steel onto existing structure to repair equipment. Fabricate/Weld new structures onto existing equipment structure per customer orders. Paint equipment per customers order.

*Painting Requirement: Must pass a QNLT "Fit Test" and wear required PPE for compactor repair paint process. Clean shaven is a requirement for paint process.
