Job Summary

The State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) is responsible for providing direct care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for elder care, specifically memory care and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others. Candidates would benefit from having experience in memory care and how to successfully address the specific needs of our residents related to the disease process.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as ambulation, toileting, and transferring
• Monitor residents' health and well-being and report any changes to the nurse
• Complete documentation and reports as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current state certification as an STNA
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift and transfer residents
