Columbia Sussex Management is Hiring a Beach Attendant Near Clearwater, FL
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests to the beach; and day to day interaction
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging services
- Ensure guests are aware of all services and activities available at the beach
- Hand out towels to guests
- Bring in dirty towels from bins
- Set-up and break-down equipment and put in storage
- Follow departmental policies and procedures
- Inventory control
- Other duties assigned

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to
perform a combination of the following supportive functions.
Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Report all suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc. to the Security Department
- Attend all mandatory meetings
- Provide general public assistance, instruction and/or guidance for guests
- Keep work area neat and organized
- Complete all other duties assigned by Supervisor
Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service

- Ability to focus attention on guest needs
- Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time in uncertain conditions
- Ability to deal with differing opinions, cultural values, languages of young guests
Physical Aspects of Position: includes but not limited to
- Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 30lbs
- Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions
Grooming/Uniforms
All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Uniforms will be provided.
Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and be available to work weekends and holidays.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- Day Shift (Preferred)
