Position: Physician Support Staff

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Physician Support Staff member to join our healthcare team. The individual in this role will provide crucial support to physicians and other healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care. The Physician Support Staff member will assist with various tasks including administrative duties, patient communication, scheduling appointments, preparing exam rooms, and maintaining medical records. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with various clinical procedures and exams
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure they are stocked with necessary supplies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Schedule appointments and follow-up visits for patients
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Coordinate referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting 
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills
- CPR certification may be required
