The Trading Analyst will leverage technologies, primarily within AWS, to streamline current data processes as well as create new data solutions that will be leveraged by the global trading analytics team. This role will be critical in providing efficient data pipelines that will flow into applications and analysis that will be used by the global trading team and the broader investments organization. Based on skill set there is also an opportunity to develop APIs and conduct analysis to improve global trading work flows. Key Responsibilities Build data solutions for the global trading analytics team. Collaborate with traders from the global trading team to gain a full understanding of their workflows and how those workflows are represented in the data. Opportunity to develop APIs that will be used by the investments organization and conduct analysis that will provide insights to traders and portfolio managers Required Qualifications 0-2 years of experience A comfort level developing advanced quantitative tools. BA or BS that demonstrates intellectual ability and rigor. Experience with programming languages, SQL or related languages. R and/or Python a plus. Experience working with large, complex data sets. Established and demonstrated work ethic and willingness to invest in their career. Strong organizational skills coupled with an ability to take initiative. The ability to integrate and function effectively on a team that places clients first and is dedicated to sustaining excellence. An ability to focus and pay attention to detail in a long term sustainable manner. The ability to work effectively under multiple and tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications BA or BS in database management systems, computer science, the sciences or finance a plus.
