Job Requirements
Knowledge of/Skill/Ability to: Good typing ability; computer skills; ability to adapt to new situations; high degree of accuracy for detailed work; clerical skills; ability to organize and complete assigned projects; ability to compound sterile products; Excellent customer service skills/experience; experience with medical terminology to maintain employment.
License/Certification
- Current Oregon Pharmacy Technician License and National Pharmacy Technician Certification are strongly preferred.
- If not currently licensed/certified:
- Must obtain a Temporary Oregon Board of Pharmacy Technician License within 90 days of employment, and obtain permanent license thereafter
- Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification within 12 months of employment.
Education And/or Experience
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum Experience: Prior experience as a hospital pharmacy technician is desirable.
