Columbia Helicopters is Hiring a Product Quality Specialist Near Aurora, OR

PRIMARY PURPOSE -
The Product Quality Specialist ensures the effectiveness of manufacturing processes and procedures by validating compliance and conformity to design, regulatory, and customer requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -
  • Ensures quality and regulatory compliance in accordance with documented procedures.
  • Verifies associated documentation as it relates to part design, manufacture and conformity
  • Use handheld Precision measurement tools to ensure product conformity to design requirements
  • Reviews manufacturing plans and processes to ensure part conformity to design requirements.
  • Maintain all required records as required by company procedures or FAA regulations
  • Conducts oneself in accordance with Company's Core Values.
  • Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE -
  • Preferred 3 years of experience in a product quality role, aircraft manufacturing, or records inspection, retention, and investigation. or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working with or familiarity with AS9100/AS9110 Quality Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations with focus on Parts 21 and 29.
  • Proficient in the use of precision measuring devices such as, calipers, micrometers, etc.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas, concepts, and proposals to a wide range of audiences at all levels.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Must meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) as a U.S. Person.
