Summary Sales Associates are to accomplish sales, merchandising and distribution goals by assisting the execution of business objectives and company initiatives. Primary Responsibilities * Effectively sell, rotate and merchandise the Red Bull portfolio in all assigned accounts * Accomplish sales and distribution goals by assisting the execution of business objectives and company initiatives * Provide route relief for Sales Representatives as scheduled * Manage inventory expenses in accordance with company policy * Interact respectfully and maintain dialog with inter-company departments, suppliers and customers * Establish and maintain a high level of industry knowledge: Red Bull, CSDs, trends, market share, etc. * Utilize Columbia University for Professional Education (CUPE) courses to improve effectiveness * Monitor competitive activity and communicate strategies * Maintain appropriate themed programs to meet supplier and company standards * Submit all required reporting, preplans, trackers, surveys, market surveys (MVPs), expense report, mileage log, etc. by the required due date * Understand and assist with MVP Standards * Adhere to all state liquor laws and regulations * Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned * Demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company's Core Values at all times Key Competencies * General knowledge of industry products * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Bilingual preferred * Effective organizational and time management skills * Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers People Management None Work Environment Work indoors with occasional outdoor work. Physical Demands * Lift, carry, push, pull up to 165 lbs. * Use arms, wrists, hands, grasp * Must be proficient in the use of industry tools including hand truck, six-wheeler, manual pallet jack, box cutter, etc. * Must be able to drive and operate a vehicle Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours will vary. Required Education and Experience * Valid driver's license and auto insurance required * High School diploma or GED required * Sales Fundamental (which includes CSP training and certification) required upon hiring Preferred Education and Experience * Minimum one (1) year previous industry experience preferred Compensation * Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location. * Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
