Columbia Cascade Company is Hiring a Plant Manager Near Vancouver, WA

Position Overview

Well established, locally owned manufacturer seeks an experienced Plant Manager to join its Vancouver, USA factory management team. As Plant Manager, you will take the helm of our skilled team, overseeing every stage of production from parts fabrication through fulfillment. You will lead teams in a variety of operations including Wood Fabrication, Metal Fabrication, Powder Coating and Warehouse Operations, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery of flawless products that exceed our customers’ expectations.

Position Responsibilities

  • Drive overall manufacturing performance, with full accountability for meeting production targets, quality standards, shipping deadlines, and safety/business compliance.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for the entire manufacturing operation, aligning production with overall company goals and objectives.
  • Oversee and guide the leaders of each specialized manufacturing area ensuring efficient workflow, resource allocation, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration between departments, prioritizing production schedules, resolving workflow bottlenecks, and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Develop and maintain robust quality control measures, ensuring all products meet and exceed client specifications.
  • Foster a culture of safety and environmental awareness.
  • Develop and implement production schedules, managing capacity planning and resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering, operations, logistics and purchasing teams.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a leadership role within a custom manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing production processes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage teams.
  • Demonstrated depth of knowledge and experience in each of our four key manufacturing areas: Wood Fab, Metalworking, Powder Coating and Warehousing
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees.
  • Proficiency in production planning methodologies and scheduling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
