Dentist salary range: $150,000 - $205,000 (plus RVU Incentive Bonus) DOE with ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates.

Responsibilities

Description of Primary Responsibilities

As a member of the dental team, this position is involved in the following duties:

  • Perform dental procedures on patients according to ADA standards.
  • Supervise/manage/train dental department staff, including residents assigned by executive leader.
  • Dental Provider Duties:

  • Interpretation of radiological images to prepare and execute patient treatment plans.
  • Provide patient dental education with assistance from interpreters as needed.
  • Document services on fee slips and in the electronic dental record within 72-hours of patient visit.
  • Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy regulations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams as needed to ensure positive patient outcomes.
  • Clinical Duties:

  • Assist with the training of new dental assistants.
  • Supervise dental staff in absence of other leadership.
  • Consult on the purchase of new dental equipment.
  • Perform composite restorations
  • Perform silver amalgam restorations
  • Perform simple and surgical dental extractions
  • Treat patients with moderate to severe dental infection.
  • Perform root canal therapy procedures.
  • Fabricate complete and partial dentures.
  • Upon successful completion of approved training programs, privileging and credentialing, responsible for the administration of orthodontia, pediatrics and/or implant treatment plans.
  • Participate in chart audits and quality assurance evaluations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Promotes a positive work culture and upholds clinic policies and procedures, including the WE CARE standards of Behavior.
  • Must uphold confidentiality at all times in regards to CBHA activities, reports, financials, patient health information and other proprietary information specific to CBHA.
  • Qualifications

    Professional and Technical Knowledge:

    Maintain authoritative skill and knowledge in the principles of sound dental practice.

    License and Certification:

  • Licensed to practice dentistry in Washington State.
  • Must have a DEA license.
  • Possesses CPR certification or ability to obtain within designated timeframe.
  • Possesses AIDS education or ability to obtain within designated timeframe.
  • Technical Skills:

    Ability to prepare basic correspondence and simple reports in Microsoft Office Suite.

    Communication:

  • Ability to provide effective communication of information in written (including electronic) correspondence.
  • Ability to provide effective communication of information during informal and formal verbal presentations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex and/or technical information to co-workers and others.

    • Dental – CBHA In-House Credit

    In-house credit of $1,300 annual maximum for services provided at CBHA dental clinic. $35 copay is waived for preventative services.

    • Vision – CBHA In-House Credit

    In house credit includes for one eye exam every plan year. $200 hardware credit for employee and dependents for prescription hardware (glasses, contacts, prescription sunglasses). Employees and dependents also receive one additional hardware credit per year at CBHA’s cost 20% (used for non-prescription sunglasses, contact lenses, or a second pair of prescription glasses). $35 copay is waived for preventative services

    403 (b) Retirement Plan:

    Safe Harbor Match: Employees are eligible to receive a Safe Harbor Match of 100% up to 4% of the employee’s total salary. Employee is full vested in Safe Harbor Match from day 1. Contributions are subject to IRS guidelines.

    Non-Elective Contribution- Provided the employee has met enrollment qualifications, employee will also receive 4% employer contribution of employee’s total salary at the end of the Plan Year at the discretion of Board of Directors.

    Vacation (Personal Leave):

    • Full-time exempt employees in their first year will have 80 hours of PTO input into their PTO account at the start of hire. For the reminder of the first year of employment, they will accrue at the rate of .05385 per hour worked not to exceed a per pay period accrual of 4.308 hours.
    • In year two and thereafter, they will accrue at the rate of .09231 per hour not to exceed a pay period accrual of 7.38 hours.
    • Employees receive 8 vacation hours (Wellness Day) added to their bank on each anniversary date.

    Educational Reimbursement Program

    Employee Assistant Program:

    EAP services are available to solve a wide range of concerns for employees. This program is confidential and covers employees, spouses, domestic partners and children up to 26 years of age.

    Contribution to Student Loan/529 College Savings Plans

    This program provides an employee with the convenience of payroll deductions toward their 529 college Savings Plan to be withheld and sent to their plan provider by BenefitEd on their behalf.
