Distribution Center Receiver Reports To : DC Supervisor Location : Three Oaks, MI Job Summary : Distribution Center Receivers are primarily tasked with loading and unloading palletized product from delivery trucks, ensuring the shipments are inspected, sorted and stored as needed.
Receivers will replenish primary bin locations, move product from above floor locations, weigh and wrap pallets and put product away safely.
Primary tools and equipment for this job include, forklifts, reach trucks, Radio Frequency (RF) scanners and electric pallet wrappers.
Responsibilities : Unloading and loading palletized product Product put away Moving palletized product to overstock locations Replenishing primary bin locations Weigh counting Picking from height as required Wrapping pallets General housekeeping in warehouse Abides by all established organizational policies, rules, and regulations.
Skills / Requirements : Forklift certified or ability to become certified Effectively use RF scanner Conduct all pre-shift equipment inspections Properly use equipment charging station Ability to read / weigh counting scales Able to sit / stand and drive forklift / reach for multiple hours Good communication and organizational skills Education / Experience : High school diploma or equivalent required 6 months forklift / reach operation experience at heights preferred 6 months RF scanner experience preferred
