Overview:

Responsible for providing a fast paced food and beverage experience while members are using the recreation areas; ensures excellence in member/guest service and maximizes sales.

General Responsibilities:

• Serves to ensure that customers are satisfied with their food and service, responds to any additional requests and fulfills all necessary functions to serve our guests at the highest standards of excellence.
• Follow all company policies and procedures including attendance, timekeeping, dress code, safety, etc.
• Report directly to the Grill Supervisor and Food and Beverage Director.
• Read the BEO’s daily to remain up to date on special functions that are occurring either in the grill, pool, tennis, or on the course.
• Helps other areas of the Food and Beverage Department as deemed necessary by management
• Assists in conducting end of day reports.
• Work well with various types of individuals.

Service Responsibilities:

• Station work – Greet members/guests and present them with a menu. Inform members/guests of specials and menu changes, make suggestions and upsell and answer questions regarding food and beverage.
• Take food and beverage orders. Ensures orders are correct and complete and meet presentation and quality standards before giving the items to the guest.
• Assume bartending position when needed and serves and/or makes drinks.
• Accepts payment and completes the sale transaction.
• Completes all daily side work according to the closing section chart or as deemed necessary by the Supervisors/Managers. Completes any additional tasks, set up, and/or tear down as deemed necessary.
• Check all inventory and restock items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the day, as deemed by the Supervisor.
• Maintains all cleanliness of tables, dishes, glassware, equipment, supplies, storage areas, refrigerators, windowsills, carpets, counters, and floors at all times.
• Follows procedures in the selling of alcoholic beverages, requests identification from members/guests that appear to be under 21 years of age.
• Set up grill stations on the golf course as organized by Grill Supervisor.
• Wash dishes and glassware.
• Serve and maintain the patio eating area.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of BBQ and portable bar.
• May be requested to memorize club members names and/or member numbers to create a more personal experience for the members.
• May verify the amount in the cash drawer and balance the cash drawer against receipts.
