Position Summary:
Support for the Director of Technology in all areas of technology, communications, Library technologies, network systems, end-user support, and troubleshooting.
This is a full-time, year-round position that will ensure the fulfillment of strategic technology initiatives and provide assistance in the technology department as needs arise. The position will be regularly scheduled to work 40 hours/week on average throughout the year, not to exceed 2,080 hours.
Supervisory Relationship: Position reports to the Director of Technology.
FLSA Status: This position is not exempt from the overtime requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Minimum Requirements to be considered for this position:
Physical Requirements:
Sit for extended periods; frequently walk, stand, or crouch for extended periods on narrow, slippery, and erratically moving surfaces; stoop, kneel, bend to pick up or move objects, including equipment; physical ability to routinely lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds (occasionally greater than 50 pounds); physical ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 150 pounds with assistance; sufficient manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination to use a variety of tools, and equipment; corrected hearing and vision to normal range; verbal communication.
Typical Working Conditions:
Work is performed both in-office and outdoor environments; some exposure to controlled and hazardous substances and chemicals; continuous contact with staff, students and the public.

Salary: $25/hour; full-time position. Full benefit package.
