Colorado Public Radio (CPR) is seeking a Max Wycisk News Fellow.
About the Fellowship:
The CPR News Fellow supports CPR News' mission of using our platform to prepare the next generation of public media journalists. Our fellow will contribute to our core mission of delivering meaningful news to Coloradans using the human voice in all its forms. In this capacity, we will train the fellow on what that means and how to achieve it. Fellows will rotate across news teams over the course of their year with CPR, these teams include Colorado Matters and CPR’s Public Affairs team, with an opportunity to develop some additional skills in long-form audio production. The fellowship is specifically designed to support recent graduates and early career journalists, and folks looking to pivot into this field; we encourage candidates with 2 years of professional experience in the audio journalism field to consider applying to other CPR opportunities.

Position Information:
Position Type: Full-Time, Temporary. The fellowship runs for 12 months, from September 2024-August of 2025. Employment beyond this date is not guaranteed.
Starting Pay: $20.80 Hourly (Budgeted for 40 hours per week)
