Maintenance Technology, National Park Service Academy, and the Paleontology Plan of Study. We also
offer great opportunities for our students in Nursing, Dental Hygiene, Cosmetology, and Automotive
Technology. The college provides AA, AS, AAS, and certificate programs so students have excellent
choices in their degree plans.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated temporary Grounds & Maintenance Laborer to assist
with the maintenance of our facilities. CNCC takes great pride in the external and internal appearance of
our facilities. Applicants who have some previous labor or facilities maintenance experience are
preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintain grounds, including trimming, edging, mowing lawn, collecting trash, etc.
  • Complete regular maintenance tasks as needed
  • Report to facilities or maintenance manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention,
and those currently in progress
  • Perform minor fixes, such as repairing broken locks, damage to walls, etc.
  • Install necessary equipment as needed
  • Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
  • Inspect and troubleshoot various equipment and systems

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
This job requires any equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and/or
experience as indicated below.

1. Education and Training: A minimum education level of a diploma or GED

2. Other Qualifications:
  • Basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
