Title: Electrical Estimator - CLI Services, Inc.
Job Description: 
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to become an integral part of our dynamic team. As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our project bidding process by providing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for various electrical projects. 
Responsibilities:
  • Project Review: Thoroughly review project specifications, drawings, and related documentation to gain a deep understanding of the scope and requirements.
  • Material and Labor Analysis: Conduct detailed analyses of materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs to ensure precise and competitive estimates.
  • Vendor and Supplier Collaboration: Engage with vendors and suppliers to obtain up-to-date pricing and negotiate favorable terms to enhance project cost-effectiveness.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Proficiently interpret electrical blueprints and specifications, extracting relevant information essential for accurate estimation.
  • Estimating Software Utilization: Leverage industry-standard estimating software (Sage) and tools to streamline the estimation process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Cost Breakdowns:** Provide clear and comprehensive breakdowns of estimated costs, highlighting key components and potential areas for value engineering.
  • Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and competitors to contribute to the development of competitive and profitable bids.
  • Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address queries, provide clarification, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate potential risks that may impact project costs, proposing mitigation strategies to enhance overall project success.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed and organized records of estimates, ensuring that documentation is readily available for internal and external reviews. Generate reports summarizing key estimation metrics.
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Master Electrician or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction or electrical contracting industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
  • Proficiency in industry-specific estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
