As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office/hospital. You will support providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Interview patients and document basic medical history
  • Take vital signs, perform and review body composition analysis
  • Administer injections
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Check with patients and type up patients charts
  • Assist during medical examinations
  • Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments

Skills

  • Proven working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary preferred but not required. Skilled in use of medical office software like EMR systems. Knowledge of medical office management procedures, patient management and billing systems, insurance identification numbers, hospital charting systems is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
