A day in the life:
- Use your Refrigeration skills and experience to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain large sized/complex rack refrigeration systems and associated control systems
- Diagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to refrigeration equipment and associated components
- Primary areas of expertise include coolers, freezers, ice machines, and rack systems
You should have:
- Experience diagnosing, repairing, and performing maintenance on rack refrigeration systems and related controls
- Experience servicing and maintaining commercial refrigeration equipment, such as supermarket rack refrigeration systems, cold storage facilities, cooler display cases, reach-in's, walk-in boxes, and ice machines
- Universal EPA certification
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of OSHA and industry safety requirements
