Job Title: Intern (Recruiting)

Location: 18 W Evergreen Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19118

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our recruiting team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and assisting with administrative tasks. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in human resources or recruitment to gain practical skills and knowledge in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with sourcing candidates through online job boards, social media platforms, and other channels.
  2. Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates for open positions.
  3. Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  4. Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and fit for specific roles.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our applicant tracking system.
  6. Assist with drafting job descriptions and posting openings on various job boards and websites.
  7. Participate in recruitment events, such as job fairs and campus recruiting activities.
  8. Support the recruiting team with administrative tasks, such as organizing files, preparing documents, and updating spreadsheets.
  9. Collaborate with team members to continuously improve recruitment processes and procedures.
  10. Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program, preferably in human resources, business administration, psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Previous experience in recruitment or human resources is a plus but not required.
