3 to 4 days a week average 25 hours per week

Dog Kennel Technician duties include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and Sanitizing dog kennels
• Exercising, socializing and medicating dogs as needed.
• Facilitating meet and greets with potential families.
• Learning personalities of the dogs and promoting them on social media.
• Over seeing volunteers
• Assist in exterior spot cleaning and shed organization.
• Assist in other duties as necessary.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Prior experience with animals is recommended.
• Must be comfortable working with animals, volunteers, and members of the community.
• Able to lift 40 pounds or more
• Work without direct supervision and in a complimentary way with other technicians and volunteers.
• Use a detail-oriented approach to ensure all tasks are completed by the end of shift.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
