Colonial Assisted Living is Hiring a Part-Time Dietary Aide Near Henderson, KY

1. Sets up trays quickly and accurately in a neat and attractive arrangement.

2. Places foods on trays according to menus, diet requirements and food preferences.

3. Carefully follows directions and serves only food specified on modified diets, adhering to meal-time schedules, meeting deadlines, and serving food at proper temperatures.

4. Serves late or “hold” trays.

5. Delivers food to resident and assists with the distribution of trays when and if necessary.

6. Returns food carts from resident areas to dishwashing area.

7. Unloads soiled trays.

8. Handles food and equipment in accordance with sanitary and safe practices.

9. Assists in preparing and delivers between meal nourishments to designated areas.

10. May prepare single food items and/or set up.

11. Ensure that an adequate supply of dishes, silverware, glasses, and other materials are maintained at all times.

12. The washing of soiled dishes, silverware, pots, and pans, etc., ensuring proper temperature and sanitation standards as required.

13. Cleans work area and equipment such as: counter tops, coffee urn, refrigerators, steamtable, floor, and dish area equipment.

14. Cleans up after self and performs cleaning duties as assigned.

15. Adapts to working a variety of dietary tasks.

16. Courtesy and tact in dealing with residents, staff, and other personnel.

17. All other duties as assigned by the Food Service Supervisor, Cook, or the Community Director.
