We are currently seeking an experienced Flatbed Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver, with at least 1 year of experience specifically in flatbed open deck transportation. Our fleet includes a Volvo 2014 manual truck in excellent condition, and we are seeking a driver who is experienced in driving manual trucks.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate flatbed trucks to transport various goods and materials.
• Secure cargo using straps, chains, and other tie-downs as needed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in proper working order.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck and work area.
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in flatbed open deck transportation.
• Experience driving manual trucks, preferably with experience driving Volvo 2014 manual trucks.
• Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job.
• Clean driving record with no history of SAP violations.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable and responsible with a strong work ethic.
• Home time of 5 days every 3 weeks required.

Compensation:

• We offer competitive pay based on a percentage (30-33%) from the whole gross.
• Drivers can expect to earn between $2,100 to $2,700 per week, depending on experience and performance.
• Weekly pay every Friday for the previous week's work.
