The Collision Repair Representative is a crucial role in the engineering of high-quality products and services in a unique industry, and at a rapidly growing organization. The Claim Workflow Associate actively manages the repair process on our clients fleet vehicles through to completion, including the assignment of appraisals and managing of rental vehicles. They are responsible for building relationships with vendors, providing specific and timely feedback to suppliers when service is unacceptable.
A Day in the Life
Effectively communicates with vendors, repair shops, and clients
Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as our In house repair specialists
Diligently follow up on claims to reduce our client's vehicle downtime
Attain appropriate information needed from vendors when there are delays in the repair process
Document all relevant information in the claims management system
Hold our vendors accountable when timelines are missed
Review daily claim reports to ensure claim data is accurate
Review repair estimates and photos, against the claim, escalating to Quality Control (QC) where applicable
Field questions from other departments regarding specific or general operational claim guidelines
The ability to analyze and upload documentation sent by vendors and clients
Answering incoming phone calls along with making outbound calls when needed
Ability to handle high stress situations such as getting vehicles released from tow locations, dealing with out of network shops, redirecting vehicles from one shop to another
Provide exceptional service to our clients as if the vehicle was your own
Professional phone etiquette on all external customer calls, along with internal calls
Communication via chat in Microsoft teams within the department as well as outside of the department
Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize your daily workload
Maintain professional demeanor working with many personalities from many geographic regions
Must maintain discretion and confidentiality of private information
Build and maintain good relationships with customers at all levels
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience in Insurance claim operations, rental management, vehicle logistics or Collision Repair industry a plus
Ability to work in a Team Environment along with interacting with other departments
Must possess excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills
Must possess analytical and critical thinking skills to problem solve
Comprehensive working knowledge of collision workflow, completing all actions and alerts (internal and external) in a timely manner
High Customer Service standards and customer retention skills are necessary to be successful in this position
Strong proficiency in time management
