We have an opportunity to make a big impact for the operation by supporting the Facilities Maintenance team. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure proper maintenance of machinery, equipment, and buildings by providing work request coordination, processing work requests, and purchasing supplies. The ideal candidate will have effective communication and collaboration skills and the ability to effectively prioritize.
Primary responsibilities:
  • Process maintenance work requests/immediate response requests and Preventive Maintenance Work Orders for maintenance and custodial personnel.
  • Receive and process work requests.
  • Assign work order numbers, prioritize, schedule, and distribute work requests.
  • Document completed work requests.
  • Maintain status tracking reports & related metric reports, communicating and distributing reports at reliable intervals.
  • Perform daily inspections of grounds.
  • Coordinate onsite work with vendors and act as focal for contracted vendors.
  • Determine necessary parts or materials required and initiate necessary purchase requests for material.
  • Generate Purchase Requisitions/ Orders
  • Collect bids on supplies for Maintenance work and Facility projects.
  • Maintain active vendor lists.
  • Help author Capital Project requests/ manage commitments.
  • Help oversee Utility Accounting and communications.
  • Help oversee department budgetary items.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • 3 years’ experience in an administrative position.
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in manufacturing maintenance support.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite.
  • Proficiency in SAP.

#reempowerprogramThe salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 83,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
