Senior Project Engineer for Lansing, MI: Will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting Throughput Data Collection and Modeling, and other related systems. Will work on systems for vehicle assembly facilities and strategic suppliers. Will work on control system functional requirements and template logic; and verify adherence specifications. Will Interface with other ME departments, plants, and GMIT on implementation issues. Coordinate the design and implementation of applications, collaborating with project managers, engineering teams and clients to ensure on-time completion of projects deliverables. Will trouble shoot issues with systems utilizing multiple, distributed PLC's, PC based operator interfaces and interface to IT systems. Will provide technical support to manufacturing plants on-site and remotely including data collection and modeling issues on new equipment, troubleshooting existing data collection systems, reprogramming and interfacing with skilled trades personnel.
