Bergmann, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Civil/Site team in Lansing, MI!

• Designing land development projects using Civil 3D including site, grading, and utilities
• Willing and interested to learn how to design these systems
• Potential to take an active leadership role and guide junior staff in the development of the project
• Work closely with the Infrastructure department to help with utility coordination and municipal utility design for complex highway and bridge projects throughout the country

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• 5 years or more of related experience
• Knowledge and understanding of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Experience with MicroStation, HydroCAD, WaterCAD, HEC-HMS/-RAS, OpenRoads, and InRoads is a plus
• Understanding of how storm water management systems function
• PE licensed or working towards licensure is preferred
• Ability to work closely with others and also independently
• Prior experience with business development, project management, client facing and estimating costs is a plus
• Proficiency in technical skills in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analysis, grading and other site development related designs
