Current Florida Educator Certification or willingness to obtain Athletic Coaching Certification is required. NOTE: Coaches who hold current teaching certification do not need to obtain athletic coaching certification.

It is NOT renewable.) 2. 5-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate WHO NEEDS IT?
Coaches who are paid a supplement from the school District but DO NOT hold a Temporary or Professional Educator Certificate.
Volunteer Coaches who are employees of the Collier County Public Schools, but do not hold a Temporary or Professional Educator’s Certification.
