College Counseling Strategy Manager

As our College Counseling Strategy Manager, you will help guide our scholars through the complex journey of college applications, financial aid, and matriculation so that they can achieve their dreams of earning a bachelor’s degree and beyond. Every day you will collaborate with our team to develop and implement standardized college counseling strategies, provide coaching and resources to college counselors, and ensure program fidelity. You’ll know the College Counseling Strategy Manager is the right fit for you if...

  • You are passionate about developing standardized college counseling resources and tools for scholars across multiple states.
  • You are comfortable managing the implementation of college exposure, application, and matriculation processes, including special programs like fly-ins and Semester Zero.
  • You have proven results in building accountability structures and monitor progress towards college counseling goals.
  • You have experience providing content-specific coaching, thought partnership, and role-specific development to college counseling staff.
  • You excel at collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of college counseling strategy across programs.
  • If you are based in Oakland, CA, you are excited to work collaboratively with your colleagues in person Tues-Thurs with the flexibility to work remotely on Mon & Fri. For all other non-Oakland locations, you are excited to work a hybrid schedule.

The full salary range for this position in [LA Metro, Oakland, D.C Metro, is $$77,435-$104,765] and [Sacramento, NOLA, is $73,435-$99,527] and [Denver Metro $69,692-$94,289] with the exact salary depending on experience. New staff are rarely brought in at the top of the range to ensure internal equity while leaving room for salary growth during an employee’s time at College Track. We are committed to the growth and development of staff both through formal and informal opportunities.
