A MINIMUM OF ONE YEAR IN ICU REQUIRED

Job Summary

The ICU Registered Nurse position provides professional and technical skills to ensure the safety, comfort, personal hygiene and the protection of Adolescent, Adult and Elderly patients in the provision of patient care. Can perform biophysical assessment of patients and appropriately manages the care of patients. Administers the correct IV and medication to the patient and collaborates with other disciplines to develop a care plan for patient. Monitors patient outcomes and communicates with family on plans of care and any changes that may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current California RN license
• Must have current BLS for healthcare providers upon hire.
• Must be CPI certified and ACLS card within 30 days of employment.
• One-year previous clinical experience in critical care nursing in an acute care facility preferred.
• Must possess excellent assessment skills, knowledge of ventilators, hemodynamics vasopressor drips, and EGK monitoring.

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CMC roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices, etc. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CMC in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.

$5.00 ICU Unit Differential

Pay: $56.00 per hour
