Our media outlet is in need of enthusiastic and committed sales professionals from all over the country to help ensure the continued and growing success of an up-and-coming media outlet. Do you want to help build a media outlet that could be seen by millions of people while also making money for yourself? Then this is the opportunity for you!
As a sales representative, you will help to grow a network of sponsors for the company, bringing in ad revenue to help grow the media outlet. Working with our Director of Marketing and Business Development, you will develop relationships with businesses to acquire sponsorships in order to bring in revenue for the company. Additionally, you will keep track of all current sponsorships you have acquired, ensuring they continue their support of the media outlet.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sponsorship revenue goals.
Identify and prioritize potential sponsors based on their fit with the outlet’s goals and target audience.
Research and analyze information on companies and market trends in order to properly pitch to potential sponsors.
Create unique sponsorship proposals and presentations tailored to each potential sponsor’s needs and interests.
Contact potential advertising leads for potential sponsorship opportunities.
Engage in sales pitches to potential sponsors in order to finalize deals.
Negotiate sponsorship contracts and ensure all terms are clearly defined and agreed upon by both parties.
Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors through excellent customer service and communication.
Track sponsorship revenue and expenses, providing regular reports to management
Requirements
Ability to talk to people in high-pressure atmospheres.
Ability to pitch and close deals effectively.
Ability to overcome objections.
Ability to handle rejection easily.

Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
