Job Details:
Position: Lead - California State License Phlebotomist
Job Types: Part time, 4 days a week
Job Duties:
Responsible for employee training and procedure review
Responsible for site set up including safety cones, signage, and testing area
Creating and modifying weekly schedule for site
Responsible for ALL staff coverage during business hours
Maintain Supplies and order as needed
Assist with crowd control and patient care
Provide inventory count and patient count to corporate
Answer questions regarding processes, test type, and additional concerns
Perform our 3 test model on patients (Antibodies, Antigen Nasal Swab, and PCR Nasal Swab)
Document rapid results for each patient by inputting them into our proprietary system
Prepare, seal and label PCR for transport
Dispose of biohazardous waste appropriately
Provide inventory count and patient count to corporate
Comply with all company policies and procedures and state and federal guidelines
Keeping work area clean, stocked, and sanitized
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to help prevent exposure
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
1 years of management experience
Ability to communicate with staff and give directives
Experience as a Phlebotomist
Valid and current state licensure
High School Diploma or GED
Basic computer skills
Must have open availability including mornings, days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime with or without advanced notice
Must be able to stand and or sit for 8 hours per day
Ability to handle a changing environment with peak times and hours
Ability to work cohesively as a team and assist co-workers with patient flow as necessary
Ability to adapt to weather conditions
Note: You are required to wear all necessary PPE and follow proper protocol as you will work directly with patients and risk being infected by patients who may have COVID-19.
