Data Entry Specialist Job Description

• Data Entry / Document Change Specialist is responsible for analyzing and processing change requests in the document management system and supporting systems. This includes communication with change originators on issues identified and how to correct them.
• Also performs review, document prep, and proofing tasks, and releases the change request for use within the organization.
• Main focus is change request processing and working with change originators
• Manages a variety of changes in the document management and supporting systems
• Analyzes document changes for completeness and accuracy and provides feedback to the change originator if issues were identified so they can be corrected and the change resubmitted
• Use basic Microsoft Office applications to update fields in document management systems

Data Entry Specialist Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required. (Minimum of 2 years relevant experience or an Associate’s Degree with minimum 1 year relevant experience.)
• Previous experience in Documentation Management, Data Entry, Proofreading or other related expereince
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates good analytical and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail
• Experience working in a multi-national and/or corporate environment a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
