Job Title: CNA, PCA, HHA Caregiver Company: Collaborative Home Care Location: Shelton, CT Pay Rate: $20 per hour Schedule: Availability - 12 Hour- Day & Evening Shifts during the week and/or weekends Job Description: Collaborative Home Care is looking for an experienced, compassionate, and outgoing caregiver who is currently available for 12-hour Day & Evening Shifts during the week and/or weekends. We are looking to fill immediately to help an elderly woman living in Shelton, CT, who is coming home from rehab. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of elderly individuals and meet the requirements listed, we would love to hear from you! Primary responsibilities:
Assistance with transfers
Assistance with showering & dressing
Light housekeeping and meal preparation
Assistance in toileting
Client has no pets and does not smoke

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms
Dedication to professional development
A minimum of 1-year experience in caregiving for seniors
Ability to lift 30-40 pounds
Possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record, Auto Insurance and a reliable and well-maintained car
Possess a State ID, and a valid second form of ID, such as a Social Security Card, Passport, or Birth Certificate
Eligible to work in the United States for any employer
Pass a background check and drug testing per company standards
Responsibilities and Duties:
Our Caregivers are responsible for providing hands-on, non-medical, quality care to clients of Collaborative Home Care.
Caregivers provide care based on the plan of care for their clients, which includes activities of daily living such as personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, medication reminders)
Companion care (e.g. conversation, hobbies and activities, shopping).
Caregivers must be able to work with minimal supervision, accepting personal responsibility for the maintenance of a professional relationship with the client in accordance with Collaborative Home Care policies and standards.
