Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A., an AV-rated litigation firm, has an immediate opening in its West Palm Beach office for an experienced nurse paralegal (5 years or more preferred). In addition to nursing experience in a hospital or facility setting, candidates must have at least one of the following qualifications to join our professional team of paralegals:

Designation as an FRP through The Florida Bar.

Designation as a CP through NALA.

Hold a degree or certificate as a paralegal from an accredited paralegal program.

Candidates should be organized, self-starters with proven experience in recording/capturing billable time compliant with client guidelines.

This paralegal position will require someone with experience in the preparation of discovery responses and objections, summarization of medical and other types of records, ability to assist with large document production, utilize Adobe Pro for electronic production, and other such litigation paralegal tasks.

The ability to be a dynamic multi-tasker is essential for this position, as is the ability to remain a calm and supportive leader within the team. Education

• Technical/other training or better in Paralegal Studies or related field
• Bachelors or better in Nursing or related field

• Nala Certified Paralegal
• FLA Registered Paralegal
